Funeral Director
Jim Terry founded the funeral home in 1997. Jim
attended West Chester University, where he played tight end for the Golden Ram
football team. He attended the American Academy McAllister Institute for
Funeral Professionals, graduating in 1978, and became licensed in the state of
Pennsylvania in 1979.
A member of the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors
Association, Jim has served as president and director of numerous non profit
organizations in the Community. Jim enjoys golfing, boating and deep sea
fishing with his two sons.
Jim and Nancy have two children and have resided
in Downingtown since 1981.
Public Relations
Denny has been a part of
the funeral home with Jim since its inception in 1997.
Denny assists with the administrative aspects of the
business, along with assisting the Director with overall funeral services.
Denny is involved with our families from the first call, throughout the funeral
itself and after-care funeral service support.
A lifetime resident of Downingtown, Denny and his wife, Barbara, are members of St. Joseph Parish. In his spare time, Denny can be seen on the sidelines at Downingtown West football games, as a member of the staff, a position he has held for the last 20 years. Dennis is the father of two daughters, one son and the grandfather of five.

Chester, Greg is a 2002 graduate of Henderson
High School. He earned his Applied Science Degree in Mortuary
Science from
Northampton Community College in Bethlehem and received his
Funeral
Director’s license in 2009.
Greg and his wife, Danielle live in Glenmoore with their son
Brayden and daughter Gianna.
He is a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Chester
Springs and is a 2nd Degree Knight of Columbus.
Greg is the son of Kimberly and the late Thomas Froio of West
Chester. He has
four brothers, Vincent, Daniel, Anthony and Nicholas Froio
and a twin sister,
Krista Houpt. He is the grandson of the late Deacon Larry
Froio from St. Patrick
Catholic Church in Malvern and the late Susanne Froio and
Nancy and
Clifford Howard of West Chester.

Upon graduating from
Northampton Community College with a Mortuary Science degree in 2007, Jenn came
seeking an internship and has been with the funeral home ever since. She became
a Licensed Funeral Director in 2008 and was a full-time director until the
birth of her son in 2012. Since then, she has stepped into the role of
Accounting Administrator and handles the daily bookkeeping and office
management.
Jenn and her husband, Roman, have been married since 2009 and
live in West Chester with their children, Claira, Brynn and Asher.

Born and
raised in Downingtown, Kathleen is a 2011 graduate of Downingtown High School
West and received her Associates Degree in Psychology from Delaware County
Community College in 2013. In September of 2014, Kathleen graduated from
Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, and became a licensed funeral
director in 2016. She joined the team at James J. Terry Funeral Home in June of
2021.
She loves to spend time with her family and friends, and enjoys taking her
rescue dog Max for walks.
Advanced Planning Director
Ryan is a native of Clayton, New Jersey and a graduate of Clayton High School. After High School, Ryan fulfilled his childhood dream of becoming a law enforcement officer where he served honorably for ten years prior to retiring in 2018 due to medical reasons.
Following his retirement, Ryan returned to college and received his associates degree in Mortuary Science from Fayetteville Technical College in 2020.
Ryan passed his national board examination and is a licensed funeral director & embalmer in both Pennsylvania and Delaware. Having served families in an at-need capacity for the last four years, Ryan now focuses on Advanced Planning.
Ryan lives in Delaware with his fiancée, Penny, and their dog, Peach. He enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends and volunteering with his local fire department.

In 2012, Alyson received
her Bachelors of Science in Funeral Administration with a Business Minor from
St. John's University, New York. She then followed to American Academy
McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, New York, and received her Associate
Degree of Mortuary Sciences, graduating Cum Laude. Alyson became a Pennsylvania
Licensed Funeral Director in 2014, and has worked full time in the industry
since.
Alyson and her husband, Vinny, live in Wilmington, DE with their son, Leo, and daughter, Naomi.

Laura earned her mortuary degree from Northampton Community
College in 2003 and received her funeral Director’s License in 2007. She then continued at Northampton and
received an associate degree in social work in 2009.
She and her husband and three children, along with their
furry animals are local to the area. Her family believes in supporting the
community where they reside.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending time with family
and friends, exercising, and enjoying nature and outdoor activities.

A Delaware native and graduate of the University of Delaware, Kristy joined the funeral home in 2020 as the General
Office Manager.
With her kind and comforting demeanor, Kristy is a familiar face and voice to almost every family we serve. She has a strong background in customer service and a passion for helping others.
Kristy is a proud
mom to two daughters and coaches youth sports in her spare time. Together
with her husband and daughters, she enjoys the outdoors, especially boating
and camping on the Chesapeake.

Public Relations
Nancy is the wife of Jim
Terry and the mother of their two sons, Brian and Matthew. Nancy was formerly a
business teacher at Downingtown Senior High School from 1981 until 1997 when
she went to work with her husband in their newly formed business. Nancy is
responsible for public relations within the community. Nancy is a volunteer for
Safe Harbour and Lords Pantry in Downingtown.
Funeral Assistant
Bill is a long-time
employee of the James J. Terry Funeral Home. You will most likely see him in the
parking lot or greeting you at the door. He is always willing to offer a
helping hand.

Jack began working with
the James J. Terry Funeral Home in 2016 after retiring as the Athletic Director
for Downingtown High School East and West.
