James P. Blank

James P. Blank, 63, of Downingtown passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Chester County Hospital, West Chester.

Born in Philadelphia, James was the son of the late Marie (burns) and William Blank. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Hooper) Blank. The couple shared 33 years of marriage.

Following high school, James served in the US Army. James enjoyed gardening, and loved his dogs: Bear, Sarge, and Schultz.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by stepsons: Matthew Hummell of Las Vegas, and Nicholas Hummell of Ashland, PA. He is also survived by a sister, Norma McCauley of Georgia, and brother, Bill Blank of Kentucky.

Services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions in James’ name may be made to either the American Heart Association or the ASPCA.
