Michael A. Sarmento

Michael A. Sarmento, 57, of Coatesville, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021.

Born in Ephrata on May 23, 1964, he was the son of Yvonne L. “Bonnie” (Donnell) Sarmento and the late Peter S. Sarmento, Sr. Michael graduated from Downingtown High School with the class of 1982, and went on to work in carpentry. Michael was a caring and devoted father, and he loved his grandchildren, who adored him so much.

Surviving in addition to his mother is his daughter Angelica C. Draper and her significant other Joseph Lunsford; grandchildren Chanel Diferdinando, Bryan Devoe and Jaxson Nuse; and brothers Peter S. Sarmento, Jr. and Anthony D. Sarmento.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Tuesday, June 15 from 4-5 PM at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335.
